Difficult journeys

The other day we went down to Brighton to visit my Mum.  I have a new respect for the poor commuters who have to schlep up to London every day.  When the trains are good, it is okay (ish) but at present they have a load of strikes on, which sounds hellish.

On the way home, we were delayed by an hour because there was some problem with the trains and a load of the trains to Victoria were cancelled.

  1. The wife regularly has to catch trains to London for meetings and the like. So many times it’s all gone wrong at the last bit.
In fact she is headed down to London on Monday… I’ll have to tell her about this.

There will be much rolling of the eyes and sighing. B-)
