The birds at Calbourne Mill

On Tuesday we went to Calbourne Mill (it was the last day before they closed for Easter).  There’s quite a lot to do here but on this trip my children pretty much only wanted to play on the Lego tables in the cafe.

At one point I did manage to convince my daughter to come outside and we admired the peacocks, penhens and cockerels.

You can buy bags of bird seed so the birds tend to be reasonably confident.  At one point my daughter picked up a feather and a penhen took it off her.

At other times, we’ve had a look round the flour mill and my son really loves the pedal boats.  We’ll go back at Easter.
