Compost worms and wool

I decided that my compost heap needs more worms (and so does my husband’s dalek) so I ordered these from Wormcity (through Amazon) for £8 plus £3 delivery.  This is almost certainly a bit of a rip off but I do love getting worms through the post.  So do my children.

The only problem is, my children FIGHT over who gets to put the worms in the compost heap.  It should be me!  Obviously!  It’s my compost heap.  But it never is.

Recently, we’ve been getting some deliveries from HelloFresh.  This is actually pretty good – apart from anything else, we were in a terrible Ocado rut and seemed to eat the same thing week after week.  More on that another time.

One thing HelloFresh do is wrap the food in unprocessed wool (to stop it getting too hot or cold).  Then they ask you to compost the wool.  So here it is, on top of my compost heap.
