On Tuesday, I went out for lunch with my husband.  One (small) advantage of him having a broken ankle is that I got to choose where we went for lunch.  So I chose Ottolenghi.

I had salmon with broccoli and wild rice.  My husband had beef and some aubergine stuff (really nice – and I don’t much like aubergine).

It is the sort of place that you can take children to – but they’d better be well behaved children.  My husband has a bit of a grudge against this place – at the weekend, they often have a queue out the door.  I think this just means that they have a successful business.  Plus I love their cakes.  I had the pineapple and pomegranate cheesecake and a latte.  So delicious.
