I absolutely do not need to buy any more seeds

Here is my collection of seeds.

I seem to collect seeds

The plan for this week is to give my cold frame a bit of a clean, sow some seeds in there and sow some seeds out in the garden.  I’m planning to sow Calendula outside – the packet says sow from February so should be okay.  My sweet violet seeds need to be sowed by April 2016 so I’m going to do those in the cold frame.  I also have some basil seeds that I can sow too but have no idea whether they will survive – it might be less faff to just buy some basil plants from the garden centre.

In March, I’m planning to sow some love in a mist and poached egg plant seeds in the rose garden – I hope it will keep the weeds away and the bees seemed to love them.

I have some corn poppy, cornflower an wetland wildflower seeds (the last is a whole bunch of stuff).  Do any of you know whether I can sow these in the wildflower patch yet or is it too early?

  1. Considering how mild its been I think the wildflower seeds will be ok in a few weeks… But I would hold off for a little for now.

I will also be putting Calendula seeds out soon. Hope they will be ok and that the silly weather stays fine and spring-like.
