Stuff my children are not allowed to poke

Until my laptop has been fixed, I’m not going to post as often as usual.  I do have my really ancient laptop but it’s so damn clunky, writing posts isn’t such a pleasure (am writing this on my phone).

However, I did see some cool stuff yesterday.  Walking back from soft play with my son, we saw a load of mushrooms, a dead rodent and a man fixing a spaghetti junction of telephone wires.  None of which he was allowed to prod.

I've never seen mushrooms growing on the pavement before

Mouse or rat?

      1. Who knows…just because I’m used to the subway rats, which are as big as a housecat, doesn’t mean they don’t come in smaller sizes.

  1. Fungi will grow ANYWHERE if given the chance!

I have no idea what the rodent was because rats are big and scary while mice live in cages and are cute and run around the carpet in plastic balls. I can’t comment of the guy working on the telephony loom… He may have been cute but you didn’t show his face. B-)

Oh… And if you think that cable loom was a mess then you have never seen the back of a network switch panel!

I have worked in places like this! >.<
