Running in late November

This morning, I went for a run (now my cold is better, I don’t really have any excuse).  I won’t tell you about it, except that everything is looking a bit more wintry.  The leaves have (pretty much) all fallen and there are berries on the trees.  When it gets colder, I will need to wear a running jacket but for now I am okay in a long sleeved top.

If you haven’t so far (and if you are interested in running), I recommend you check out Jane Runs Wild.  She is a far more accomplished runner than I am (really, 5km is about my limit at present) and does marathons in lots of US cities.

  1. Thank you for your post! Running outside becomes increasingly more challenging as the temperatures drop, but good for you for getting out there! The right clothing is essential, sounds like you were right with the jacket. Happy running!
