Christmas at Liberty

After brunch, we went to check out the Christmas decorations in Liberty.  Liberty is a posh shop; I like it a lot but I don’t go in there very often.  Actually, come to think of it, it always feels vaguely Christmassy – luxurious and old fashioned.

I am slightly fascist about Christmas decorations – when my husband and I first moved in together, I said that we could have a (real) tree with (white) lights on.  Then I said, if he REALLY wanted, we could have a few decorations but they had to be white or silver.  After he got fed up with this, I said we could have coloured baubles but only woven ones.  Anyway, you get the idea.  So far, I think we haven’t got as far as having tinsel but that’s about it.

We didn’t end up buying any decorations (I must admit that it still feels a bit too early) but what I MUST do is find out where the stockings are BEFORE it gets to Christmas Eve and I’m panicking.
