Camden Passage

One spot that it is worth having a wander along is Camden Passage – this is the area of Islington that reminds me most of the Lanes and the North Laines in Brighton, where I grew up.

I always think I don’t go there very often but when I do, I realise that there are loads of shops that I have bought things in.  The shops are all independent and tend to be fairly niche – I particularly recommend Loop (which used to be on Cross Street but has now moved) if you are into knitting, Japanese Gallery (which has a terrible website but a lovely shop) and Kipferl, an Austrian cafe.
