Islington in Autumn

Okay, so I will STOP bleating on about how marvellous Autumn is, don’t you love Autumn, blah, blah, blah…in a while.

When I woke up this morning, I was slightly chilly.  This is a great feeling – we need cold weather to happen or we end up out of kilter.  I remember my husband’s mum telling me that she once brought back some bulbs to the far east (where she was living at the time) and planted them in a pot on her balcony.  Nothing happened.  It never got cold so the bulbs never got their signal to start germinating.

Walking my son to his nursery school, I was rather struck with how beautiful London is.  Hardly anyone ever describes it as beautiful but I really think it is.
